 Why We Need Your Help
As you may know, hockey is a very expensive
sport. Ice time, equipment, referees, travel…it all adds up to over $20,000
a year! While we receive some funding from the university, it is nowhere
near enough to cover our entire budget. We bring in the rest of our money
to fund the season through player dues of $500 and various fundraising
activities. Still, our costs are rising every season, and our funding from
the university is not guaranteed from year to year. In order to ensure the
sustainability of the team, we hope to form partnerships with local
businesses to help them reach out and advertise to the CNU community while
helping our team fund our season. If you are interested in becoming a
