| Currents Literary & Arts Magazine is an annual publication showcasing artwork, poetry, non-fiction, and short-stories by CNU students, faculty, and staff accepted during fall semester. We rely on student volunteers like you to help produce our publication. Working on the staff of a literary and arts magazine can be a rewarding experience. It allows students to become part of a close-knit organization while meeting new people with similar interests. Being involved also provides valuable teamwork experience and opportunities to learn layout design for publications. Judging for submissions begins shortly after the start of spring semester, the most critical time for our organization. We work closely with the art department for the cover design and rely on Adobe InDesign for our layout. We don’t require any experience, just an imaginative mind and a dedicated desire to make this publication an artistic masterpiece. The only requirement is that the editor-in-chief be a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society. |
