Submitting work for publication in our 2007 edition of Currents Literary & Arts Magazine can be a highly rewarding experience. You become part of the oldest student-run organization on campus, which strives to promote the visual and written arts within the CNU community. You get the experience of being part of an artistic masterpiece. There is recognition as a fellow creative artist for each and every one of you. You’ll also be gaining potentially valuable publication experience. We accept artwork, poetry, non-fiction, and short-stories from students of all backgrounds and majors. We highly encourage students to participate in this wonderful opportunity. Faculty and staff members may also submit. As extra incentive, there is opportunity to win cash prizes and awards for both Literature and Art winners.

And for those of you who wish to start a career in the creative arts, participation in Currents allows you to be imaginative and creative and enables you to meet new people with similar interests. Publishing your work in a college-level literary and arts magazine allows you to learn teamwork and potential layout and design skills that will impress potential employers.
