a Northern Virginia girl, born and raised in Arlington, she remains proud of her Venezuelan heritage. Even though she appreciates her parents for naming her Maria-Veronica, the sheer inconvenience of the name and lack of squares on the SAT led her on a quest for a more suitable nickname. MV is an English major and has few qualms about correcting improper grammar. Her life is centered around her love of God, family, literature, cleaning, and coffee.

MV immediately fell in love with the CCM community while attending Viaticus. Since that September weekend retreat for freshmen, she has participated in an array of activities ranging from Twilight Retreats, downtown breakfasts, fundraising dinners, and the ministry's work with Heifer International. She believes a developed relationship with God is imperative for success and happiness in college and beyond, and hopes to share her faith as the Minister of Fellowship and member of CCM’s Leadership Team. We are grateful for MV and the gifts she shares with our CCM community.
