Kimberlee Gibson, Campus Minister
This past May, I graduated
from CNU and now work full time in downtown Norfolk. I was a
member of BCM for all four years I was at CNU. It became my
home away from home
and God has used it in extraordinary ways to impact my life.
This will be my second year serving as the Campus Minister for BCM. My goal is
to create a family like environment for the students of CNU.
It's my prayer that BCM will be an encouragement and support
in your life that you know you can always count on. Please drop us an email for more information or
stop by the BCM house anytime!
Ginny Richardson, Chairman of Worship and
Fundraising
Since my
first semester at CNU, BCM has played a vital role in my
growth and in my walk with Christ. Not only is there great
fellowship including movie nights, cookouts, and retreats,
but the weekly Bible studies and discussions cause you to
seek Christ through Scripture within the small family group
of BCM. BCM helps to feed you spiritually, but also gives
you the chance to be "Christ's hands and feet" to others
through mission opportunities. My goals for BCM this year
are to help each other mature in our relationships with
Christ and to work with other campus ministries to be Christ
to our campus and community.
Erin Anthony,
Chairman of Lunches and Corporate Administration
I first got involved with
BCM in the fall of my freshman year, 2005. I
had tried out other Christian organizations on campus, but
what drew me
to BCM was the small, family-like environment and ability to
know every
member on a personal level. During this school year, I'll be
co-chairing
worship, taking care of the administrative duties and
planning
luncheons. I hope that through these responsibilities, I can
recreate
what first drew me to BCM and help incoming students to have
that
close-knit fellowship that I found here and loved my
freshman year.
Don't hesitate to seek any one of us out if you have any
questions!
Patrick
Crow, Chairman of Missions
Since my
first semester at CNU, Fall 04, I have been an active member
of BCM. I have had a lot of good experiences with the BCM.
The organization has changed a lot in the past few years and
I have loved being a part of the growth, witnessing first
hand what God can do for and through people. This year I
will be in charge of the organizations various service
projects. My goal here is to provide help for people who
need it and to of course glorify God in so doing. The BCM
has been a lot of fun, and due to the small, closely knit
group of individuals that make up the club, it has also been
a great support group. This year, I hope that we continue
to grow closer as a group, reach out to more people than in
years past, and experience spiritual growth.
P.S. We
get free lunches too :)
Hannah
White, Chairman of Publicity and Outreach
Hey
y’all! I’m Hannah and I’ll be a sophomore this year at CNU.
I’m a Biology major and my goal after graduating in 2010 is
to go on to be a Veterinarian. I first came to BCM because
my family had participated in it and told me to check it
out, but what kept me coming back was the close family
atmosphere and how the BCM house instantly became my home
away from home. My goals for this year are to make any new
people feel welcome and to have tons of fun! Hope to see you
all here!
